Brief description: The Castel lab in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine is seeking highly motivated and talented candidates for a fully funded postdoctoral position starting January 2022. Our lab is interested in the study of oncoprotein signaling in the context of cancer and developmental disorders and we use biochemical, cellular, and in vivo approaches to understand how oncoproteins work, with particular interest in RAS/MAPK and PI3K pathways. Prospective candidates will held a PhD degree and have previous experience in either molecular biology, biochemistry, cell/cancer biology, and/or animal modeling.
